Making time to read, building a reading habit, and finding a new book club!
Lately, self-care is my main focus, and a biggie for me is making time to read.
I was watching a video from Made with Love Crafter recently, and she talks a lot about reading. I used to love reading for fun, but then I started mainly reading self-help books. There isn’t anything wrong with them, but sometimes it’s nice to just get lost in a story. I actually prefer reading a book over watching a movie. Do you feel the same way? As a matter of fact, I usually feel disappointed when I watch a movie after reading the book first.
Tricia also has a book club on Facebook, but before I start the book for February, I want to read the book she is currently reading. I am only 3 chapters in and I’m hooked!

My new challenge lately is deciding if I want to purchase the digital version or the paper version of these books! I just love the feel and smell of paper, especially hardcover books, but carrying all my books in one little tablet makes life so much easier.
For now, I am sticking with building my collection of actual, physical books. I can’t wait to have a bookshelf full of all the books I plan on reading 🙂
I am currently reading two other books as well. Here they are if you want to check them out (I’m reading Life of Pi along with my daughter for school)
