Let’s make some planner dividers!
DIY Fall Planner Dividers
Fall is almost here! With the temperature cooling down a bit, I am getting too excited for the colder weather. Coffee, boots, sweaters, and a burnt orange Filofax are how I’ll prepare for the coming season! And since I was going to be switching to a new planner, I thought I would make some DIY Fall Planner Dividers.
This is only the second time I have attempted to make laminated dividers, and it’s just as time-consuming as I remember. I think from now on I will just purchase them or only laminate dashboards, and then put them behind my clear dividers. It’s cutting around the tabs that make the job so tedious.
I got these adorable Unicorn printables from ArtPrintsFactory on Etsy and the fall leaves printables as a free download from My Eva Lilly.
I wanted a thinner divider and a different look, so I went with vellum paper instead of regular paper. The laminator I use is made by Scotch, as well as the laminating sheets. I’ve been using this for a few years now and I absolutely recommend it.
I have a paper cutter, but I chose to use a metal ruler and utility blade to trim my dividers. I feel like the vellum is more delicate than regular paper and I also have a little more control this way.
Two dividers fit in each laminating sheet. Did I mention these are Personal Size?
And here they are in my planner. I decided to rotate between the two styles of dividers, and I love them! I have to say it was worth the effort.
