It’s that time of year again! Join me for a mid-year review of my 2024 B6 Common Planner, beautifully nestled in its Sojourner leather cover. This is my all-in-one planner. It holds my daily to-do lists, meal and workout logs, and even includes a bit of daily journaling.

Leather Planner Cover
This leather cover is my absolute favorite of all time. It’s the Gedi by Sojourner—thin, buttery smooth, and easily scratched, giving it a unique and personal character.
Gilded Edges
Can we take a moment to admire how beautifully floofy these planner pages become?
I feel so torn between the clean look of white-edged pages and the elegant gold gilding Sterling Ink offers in her planners. However, as time passes and my planner gets used, I find myself loving the look of the gold edges even more.
Platinum Preppy
My go-to writing utensil is my Platinum Preppy fountain pen in fine. Filled with Sepia Brown De Atramentis Document Ink, it writes beautifully every time and is both waterproof and archival.
Midori Index Tabs
I’m often asked about the little tabs in my planner. They are Midori Chiratto Index Clips, which I purchase from JetPens. They are available in gold and silver, and I love that they don’t stick out too far. They can be easily moved when needed and slip onto the page without leaving a dent.
Planner Flip Through
This is the first time in several years that I’ve fallen off track with my Miracle Morning Tracker. I can’t pinpoint exactly why I stopped using this section in my planner. But as you can see, I jumped right back in at the end of June!
My monthly spreads remain very basic, mainly holding special dates and appointments.
The weekly spread is where my planner truly shines! I don’t pre-plan in this section; instead, I track my time throughout the day. It’s like time blocking in reverse, allowing me to see where I spend my time each week at a glance. I frequently refer back to these spreads to verify dates and keep myself organized.
Another essential section in my planner is the daily pages. Here, I create a daily to-do list, track my food and workouts, and journal daily.
Planner Setup
A few people have asked how far in advance I draw my daily pages. It’s a great question! I typically take time on Friday night or over the weekend to sketch out the week ahead. I only plan one week at a time, leaving room in case I feel inspired to try a different setup.
