2018 BULLET JOURNAL SETUP
Back in August 2017, I began to feel the itch to change up my planning system, which led to my 2018 Bullet Journal Setup. Life has changed so much for me and my family in the past 6 months, and I needed a new system that could keep it in order…along with my business to-do’s. While I love using all of my beautiful planners, I felt like I needed to be able to keep everything in one place. The search began. Over and over again, BULLET JOURNALING kept coming to my attention. I had to investigate! So for about a month I obsessed, and watched videos on all the different setups, collections, and styles of bullet journaling. This was it! This was exactly what I was looking for!
Now 6 months in, I’m still going strong. Because I spent so much time investigating and figuring out what would work or me, I’ve pretty much had the same setup this entire time.
Here is the notebook that I use. It’s a Leuchtturm1917 notebook that I purchased on Amazon. I found it really hard to find the grid style at Barnes and Noble; they mainly have lined and dot grids.
I keep my bujo planning pretty simple, so these are the only supplies I use.
Inside my bullet journal
To distinguish the start of the new year, from last year’s planning, I made a page with a cute little bear drawing and a 2018 Year at a Glance calendar.
I made a section in the front for my Level 10 Life, inspired by the book The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.
My husband and I sat down together in January and talked about our goals for the year, and where we feel we are at right now.
Next is my Monthly calendar. I absolutely need to see my month at a glance, set up in the traditional calendar layout. It just gives me the perfect visual for how busy my month is going to be.
This month I used the extra space on the right to write out the PlannerAddicts picture of the day challenge.
And here is my always dependable weekly layout. It’s simple, and clean and allows me enough space to fit my scheduled events and a to-do list.
I am currently using this notebook to keep track of my Meals and Workouts as well. Check out this link to see my blog post about my 21 Day Fix Journey. I’m not sure if I will keep tracking this in my bujo. I may just start using my Lose It app on my phone.
I hope you enjoyed this post. be sure to watch my video for more! Thanks!
