With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I didn’t have time to cook up all these delicious goodies before heading out of town, but I will share what I did get to taste!
Dinner #1 (pasta & bread): Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Sourdough Harvest Bread
These are the BEST fresh noodles I have ever had the pleasure of eating! I have made noodles from scratch, bought them from the store and I have even purchased a few pricey meals having claimed, “fresh noodles”. This is a fresh noodle! I almost wish I didn’t put any sauce on them. That’s how flavorful they were!
The Sourdough Harvest Bread was a solid 8/10, but that’s only because I don’t care for fruit in my sourdough bread. If that was my thing, it would definitely get a 10/10. (I didn’t realize it had fruit in it when I tossed it in the oven.)
Dinner #2 (pasta & bread): Cacio e Pepe with Tonnarelli Noodles and Sourdough Bread
A-MA-ZING!!!! Guys, I am, not exaggerating when I say this is the BEST Sourdough Bread I have ever had. Yes, the noodles were fantastic, but this bread!
Every time we go to Disneyland we HAVE to get Mickey Mouse Sourdough Bread. Until now, that Boudin bread was my favorite. And it was made in the comfort of my own home, leaving my house smelling GLORIOUS!
I got so caught up in reminiscing about the Sourdough Bread that I almost forgot to mention how wonderful the Tonnarelli Noodles were! This type of noodle is new to me, and it was delightfully chewy and perfectly al dente.

Pastry #1: Croissant
Buttery, flakey, crunchy, and crumbly! I may have slightly undercooked this one in my impatience to taste that magnificent smell. Worry not, it was still fantastic and so much fresher and clean tasting than the ones I get from the local donut shop or super market.
Pastry #1: Orange Cranberry Biscuits
I am a huge fan of savory biscuits and sweet scones, and this was the perfect combination of the two. I could easily eat the entire package of 6 in one sitting, but that would not be good for my waistline…lol!
Snuggling up with these warm treats and some cold oat milk closed out the perfect fall evening.
Wildgrain Box Pros:
- Clean ingredients with no artificial flavors.
- Freshly baked homemade bread in under 30 minutes…without the mess!
- Nutrition and instruction labels on every item in the box.
- Free delivery. Change delivery frequency, skip or cancel at any time.
- Free croissants in every box.
Wildgrain Box Cons:
- You cannot customize your box.
- Products are Vegetarian, but not vegan or gluten-free.
- A bit on the pricey side (But the pricing does reflect the high-quality ingredients and labor process that goes into creating these fresh and nutritious products.)
- Not good for someone on a low-carb meal plan.
Final Thoughts:
While I thoroughly enjoyed these baked goods in moderation, it does not fit into my chosen food lifestyle on a long-term basis. It is just my husband and me at home, and this is far too much for us to consume in a month. Although I will definitely pick up a box for the upcoming holidays with family and friends!
