I haven’t shared a flip-through in a bit, July Common Planner flip through, and a peek at my Moterm Personal Planner.
Hello, friends! As we find ourselves immersed in the heart of summer, I wanted to take a moment to share how I’ve been staying organized and productive throughout the month of July. Here is a flip-through of my trusty companion, the Common Planner. From to-do lists to habit trackers, let me share this essential tool in my daily routine.
2023 July Common Planner Flip Through
VDS Undyed Janet Leather Cover
I don’t usually decorate my front pockets, but I’m trying to use these stickers up, so I can keep them here to remind me to use them.
The little monster guy is a freebie from Courtney Diaz’s Patreon Subscription. I printed it on vellum paper and laminated it.
In the back pocket, I stash this folded-up Tomoe River Paper. It’s my pen’s sidekick. I prefer quick-drying ink, but when I leave my pen without a cap for too long, it can get dry. I use this paper to get the ink flowing again.
The pink paper is blotting paper. This stuff will be your best friend when writing with a fountain pen on Tomoe River Paper.
Monthly View
This monthly spread is the perfect starting point for setting the tone for my month and planning around major events. This at-a-glance view offers a bird’s-eye view of all the important dates, events, and appointments that lie ahead.
As a sports photographer, this is the slow season, so I had lots of time to refocus on my blog and YouTube channel!
Weekly View
The weekly spreads are where I keep tabs on how I’m spending my time and also take a moment to think about what I’ve been up to.
Daily View
This seems to be the daily layout that is working for me. I did switch up the highlighter color, but other than that, my daily pages haven’t changed much.
It includes:
- a daily to-do list
- everything I eat in a day
- workouts (or lack thereof)
- daily journaling
Trackers
I used to enjoy these trackers from Peanuts Planner Co in the back of my planner, but I stopped using them in May.
They aren’t something I am going to include in next year’s setup.
I am still using the tracker at the front of my planner to keep track of my Miracle Morning habits.
Moterm Personal Planner
Can you believe how dark my VDS Undyed Janet Leather has gotten?! It’s just about the same color as my Moterm Veg Tan in Apricot.
Speaking of which, here is a look at a few of the planning pages in my Moterm Ring Planner for July.
I’m using this free printable from Peanuts Planner Co to preplan my week.
This meal planner freebie is from Puffin Pages Co.
Favorite Pens
I was thrilled to find my favorite fountain pen in white! The Platinum Preppy is such an inexpensive yet high-quality fountain pen. This is my go-to pen in the fine nib (03) for my Common Planner.
The Uniball One P is my new favorite gel pen. It’s a chunky little thing but super light and convenient!
