I finally got my hands on a Veg Tan Pocket Moterm Wallet!
I have been waiting for the Veg Tan Pocket Moterm in Apricot to get restocked for weeks, actually giving up my search for a while. But then I purchased a B6 VDS cover in undyed leather and immediately knew I also wanted one in the Pocket Size.
However, my budget will not allow that purchase as soon as I would like, so I thought I would give my Moterm search another shot. And this time, I got lucky!
I found it on the actual Moterm website, not Amazon or Aliexpress. The key is to keep visiting their store or to submit your email to be notified when the product you want is back in stock.

The Color
Apricot appears to be one of the popular colors right now because it most resembles the VDS and Gillio undyed leathers. I know this is why I wanted one!
While this is the perfect temporary pocket wallet for me, there are significant differences between Moterm and the two higher-end planner designers.
The biggest difference is the price. I spent just over $60 on this Moterm, and a similar VDS would cost me well over $150. And the Gillio is like a myth to me. There always seems to be a perpetual waitlist.
Quality
While the quality might not rank up there with the Gillio and VDS planners, it sure gives them a run for their money.
I feel like the edges and stitching are near flawless. You actually have to pay extra at VDS to get a back pocket and square corners. These features are standard in Moterm Planners.
The Clasp
This strap doesn’t allow for the chunkiest of planners, but I can keep it pretty full and still have room for my pen. The button has a very satisfying click and is easy to snap.
The Zipper
The zipper feels sturdy and has a very smooth pull to it. I also love the little flap that protects your planner pages from the zipper.
What’s inside
I have four sections in my Pocket Moterm Wallet.
The first are these Weekly Inserts that I purchased from Creffective Paper. They are so clean and minimal looking. You have to check out their store if you like minimal planner inserts!
Next is my Intentions section. I created this printable in Canva, and I read these at least once a day. Having them in my wallet makes it convenient, no matter where I am because I always have my wallet with me.
Blank pieces of paper always come in handy.
And finally, my wallet section. I love this flyleaf cardholder that comes with the Moterm, and I wish they had this option for the VDS planners, but they only have a zipper flyleaf addon.
Cash and all my receipts are kept in the large back pocket. Emptying it out and immediately and logging them into Quicken keeps my finances organized and my wallet clean.
The Pen
The Kakuno Pen was one of my first fountain pens, so when I saw this one at Warwick’s, I had to grab it. The elastic added to the pen loop helps it fit perfectly.
Moterm vs VDS
Here is a side-by-side comparison of my B6 Undyed Janet Leather VDS and the Veg Tan Pocket Moterm.
I wish I had a Gillio to compare it to!
I hope you enjoyed this little look into my Pocket Moterm Wallet! If you have any questions feel free to ask.
