I love to see how other people plan their days. I guess I’m just nosy like that! Take a look at my May Flip Through in my Hobonichi Cousin.
MAY FLIP THROUGH
Let’s start with my leather cover!
I am currently using my Stag leather Sojourner USA cover. I have had it for years, and it is still going strong!
I also included a picture of my yearly tracker. This is one of my favorite spreads in the Hobonichi Cousin because I can see how I’m doing with my habits at a glance.
Monthly View
I am still using my monthly view the same as I always have. This is where I come to preplan and schedule appointments.
Weekly View
My favorite part of the Hobonichi planner is right here! The weekly layout is open on my desk all day long, and I like to document what I do throughout the day. Mainly for memory keeping, but also to keep me on task and not waste time.
Daily View
And then we have the daily pages…the bane of my existence. I have such a love-hate relationship with these pages. There is plenty of space to create my to-do list and make notes, but this is where I feel my planning gets repetitive. The timeline section rarely gets used because I keep track of my husband’s schedule there, but I also have this in a Google calendar that I share with him. The notes section I mainly use to go over how my workday went, but I also keep that in my Traveler’s Notebook journal.
And don’t get me started on the smearing. I cannot seem to write on this page with any kind of pen without smearing the ink.
For a second, I thought I would try journaling more with pictures in here again, but that didn’t last more than one day.
I changed the layout a bit for June, and I thought it might work, but I feel it’s just too time-consuming.
Sunsama
Watch my video to see what I will be using in place of the Hbonichi Cousin. Along with that planner, I will be using the app Sunsama. Be sure to come back to see how I use this awesome app!

I love how you set up your Cousin! Your writing is amazing btw. I am trying to improve my handwriting so my planner doesn’t look like chicken scratch!
