I noticed that I can&#039;t use this ink in pens like my Pilot Vanishing Point, because they don&#039;t have a cap on them. And I recently moved from San Diego, CA to Arizona, and my pens started drying out a lot faster here. Maybe it&#039;s there weather? I have now started using DeArtramentis Archive ink. It doesn&#039;t dry out on my and it is still archival ink. Hope that helps!]]></description>
