This B6 Stalogy is the start to my obsession with the B6 size!
B6 STALOGY AND SOJOURNER FOLIO
This Beautiful Gedi Leather
Let me start by saying that I had my eye on a Sojourner notebook cover for about two years. Rowena’s beautiful leathers and scoop front pockets have been on my wish list for far too long.
In April 2019, I decided to take the plunge and invest in my very first Sojourner. I say invest, because these planners are not cheap, and I use them for many years. The beautiful caramel color of the Gedi won my heart. As a matter of fact, I ordered the Gedi on Gedi with a scoop pocket, because I wanted it to all be the same leather. (That means the base, front pocket, and inner sleeves, are all Gedi leather)
At the time, I was using my B6 Stalogy as a To-Do List Notebook, alongside my Passion Planner. I had it in my newly de-ringed Malden, but just wasn’t loving the setup. The Malden zipper was leaving an imprint on my cover, and the bulky pockets made it difficult to write at times.
Gedi became my Stalogy’s new home, and oh my, how it fits like a glove!
Honestly, I wasn’t fully in love with the cover until just a few weeks ago. It has aged with scratches and stains and is molding itself around my Stalogy. It is the most wonderful journal to hold in my hands!
Take a closer look!
I stuck a few wine label stickers in the front, but probably won’t decorate the inner pages
Here is how my daily planning looked when this was my To Do List. Sometimes I kind of miss this layout :-/
I made these tabs with a We R Memory Keepers tab maker to divide the two parts. I didn’t want the rest of the journal to go to waste when I moved into a Hobonichi Cousin, so I converted it to a journal. You can check out my How Hobonichi Hooked Me post HERE!
These days I don’t have much time to doodle in my journal, but I always try to include some pictures, and ephemera wherever I can.
And don’t you love when your pages start to get “fluffy”?
Look at how those leather corners are molding around my journal. It’s like they are giving it a gentle hug 🙂
Here is a pic of the front abandoned back, showing all of its glorious scratches and stains.
And a closer look never hurts either!
I hope you found this post helpful. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about ordering from Sojourner.
