High School Journal Flip Through
Hello! I’m back with another high school journal flip-through. This time I’m sharing my daughter’s journal with you.
I love collecting ephemera from the places we go and including them in my journals. The first event in her journal is the San Diego County Fair.
I just pasted in some of the leftover tickets that we had from the day, along with a few pictures. The main reason my daughter wanted to go to the fair was for the food. She is a picky eater but becomes super adventurous at times. She had deep-fried avocados, frog legs, and deep-fried Oreos. And how can I forget to mention the crickets! This girl ate the entire box, along with a worm lollipop.
I always try to include pictures of her with her friends, and they love to model!
I didn’t get too many pictures from cheer camp this year ๐
A new coffee shop opened up near us, and Paige was dying to try it out. She loves the mojito coffee and avocado toast with hard-boiled eggs on top. I asked them for an extra bag to include in her journal. I love the crinkle sound it makes when I turn the page. They also had free stickers on the counter, so I had to grab one of those!
Next is her vision board for her YouTube channel. If you don’t know what ASMR is…you should look it up. I thought she was crazy at first, but there is a huge following on YouTube, and she wants to be a part of it.
This is the ONLY picture I got from cheer retreat…actually, it’s before she even left. I also printed out her 10th-grade schedule of classes.
Then came the DMV Debacle! The bottom line, she passed the first time. W are so proud of her, and she is so proud of herself. I must say that she is growing up way too quickly for me. I like to include stickers that I find in my journaling too. My husband bought a few inexpensive packs off of Amazon, and every once in a while, I find the perfect sticker to match.
My husband took my daughter and her friend out for a nighttime photo shoot in downtown San Diego, while I was at a baseball game. I love the way they turned out!
Yup, it’s that time of year again…football season. I love going to her football games. We are photographers, so we take pictures of the cheerleaders for the parents, and that gives us the opportunity to take lots of pics of Paige too.
Just some other bits of stuff that I grouped together for this section. You can watch the video below for a better explanation ๐
Lastly, Pictures Paige has posted to her Instagram. I forgot to open the 5 place card to show the other two pictures of her, but they are in the video too!
Hopefully, this gave you some creative ideas to start your own junk journal. I don’t have tons of time time to spend journaling, so I try to keep it pretty simple.
