In this video, I’m doing a mid-year planner check-in and talking through what’s working, what’s not working, and what I’m changing in my planner system.
I love checking in with my planner partway through the year because real life changes. What worked in January may not be what I need now, and sometimes the best thing we can do is pause, look honestly at our system, and make small changes that help us stay consistent.

Mid-year planner check-in
This mid-year planner check-in is all about looking at my current planner system and deciding what is still serving me.
Planner setups do not have to stay the same all year. Sometimes a section stops being useful, a layout starts feeling too busy, or a system that once felt perfect no longer fits your everyday life.
That is why I love doing a planner check-in. It gives me a chance to simplify, reset, and make my planner feel useful again.
What’s working in my planner
In this video, I’m sharing the parts of my planner that are still working well for me. These are the things I’m reaching for, using consistently, and depending on to help me stay organized.
A good planner system should support your actual life, not just look pretty on a desk. For me, that means my planner needs to help with routines, schedules, notes, goals, and the everyday pieces I need to keep track of.
What’s not working
I’m also talking through what is not working anymore. This is such an important part of planning because it is easy to keep forcing a system just because we already set it up.
But if a planner section is not being used, or if a layout is making things feel more complicated, it may be time to change it.
Your planner is allowed to evolve with you.
What I’m changing in my planner
The middle of the year is a great time for a planner reset. It does not have to be a full new setup or a complete planner switch. Sometimes small changes are enough to make your system feel fresh and functional again.
In this video, I’m sharing what I’m adjusting so my planner works better for the season I’m in now.
Planner reset inspiration
If you are feeling stuck in your planner, this is your reminder that you do not have to wait for a new year to make changes.
You can do a mid-year planner check-in anytime. Look at what you are using, what you are avoiding, and what would make your planner easier to come back to.
I hope this video gives you some planner reset inspiration and helps you think through your own system in a simple, realistic way.
