DIY Small Home Office
Take a look at my DIY Office Setup! Do you work from home, with limited space to set up an office? I have some great tips for you!
With my daughter moving back home from college and living in a small San Diego apartment, I had to get creative with my tiny space.
Here is how I set up my DIY Office and links to all the budget-friendly pieces I purchased!
DIY Small Home Office
Hanging Planter
This small space is very white. I wanted a subtle pop of color, so I decided on the Chilistran Planter and this adorable Fejka Plant.
Pegboard & Light
I needed a place to store all my important papers and office supplies while creating a fun look on the wall. I thought about doing shelves at first, but I fell in love with the low profile of the Skadis Pegboard and its minimal vibe.
Honestly, I bought the Harte Lamp purely for how cute it is. While it does light my desk well during the day, it casts too many shadows when I am trying to write at night.
I am currently looking into replacing this with an LED Light that I found on Amazon.
These are a few of the supplies that I grab on a daily basis. I also love having a place to pin important papers that need my immediate attention. I only put important papers in a drawer if they are being filed away!
The Desk
I decided on the smallest Micke Desk, which I actually found in the children’s section of the IKEA website. It was easy to assemble by myself and is the perfect size for this tiny corner.
I grabbed a few trays and baskets from around my apartment to use in the drawers.
The Chair
I almost forgot to mention the chair that I am using! I really wanted the Tobias Chair, but it’s not that comfortable, and I wanted to keep my budget low for this project. So, I grabbed one of my Teodores Chairs from the dining room temporarily.
