No Smudging Fast Dry Fountain Pen Ink! Rohrer & Klingner Sketch Ink

It exists, fast dry ink that is gorgeous and waterproof!

Are you tired of your fountain pen ink smearing on your Tomoe River paper planner, like the Hobonichi? So was I, until now. I am so excited to share this fast dry ink with all of you. It is SketchInk by Rohrer & Klingner, and it comes in so many amazing colors.

Fast Dry Ink – No More Smudging!

1. 10 Gorgeous Colors

This fast dry ink by Rohrer & Klingner comes in 10 colors. I have 6 of them and plan to purchase one more, the gray color (Thea). Rohrer & Klingner inks are made by hand and use as few artificial additives as possible to achieve brilliant natural colors.

2. Where can I buy these inks?

I purchase mine from Jetpens, but you can also find them on Amazon. Rohrer & Klingner also make other inks, so be sure to get the SketchInk with the very interesting characters on the bottle.

3. What did you use to test the inks?

I also purchased a Col-o-ring Ink Testing Book from Jetpens! I have so many other inks, that I figured this will be a great way to keep track of them all. Besides, just looking at the bottle doesn’t give you an accurate representation of the color inside.

I grabbed some good ole fashioned cotton swabs and cautiously started creating my ink samples. I’ve never done this before and thought it would be a lot more complicated. Turns out it is easy and I can’t wait to do more!

I was only able to find this on JetPens and Goulet Pens, but not on Amazon.

Here is another look at each bottle next to its ink test card. I feel like they nailed the color in the clothing on the bottle pictures.

4. Who is this ink for?

This ink is perfect for sketchers, designers, graphic artists, and architects. But if you are a planner girl like me, this is ideal for you too, especially if you are a leftie.

5. Which planner do you use them in?

I am currently using these fast dry inks in a Wonderland222, but couldn’t help myself and gave it a try in the back of my new Sterling Ink Common Planner.

I have also used them in my Moleskine journal, and they do bleed through a little if I press too hard. But my husband uses them in a Leutturm and they work just fine!

6. Is there anything else I should know about these fast dry inks?

SketchInk fountain pen inks are waterproof, lightfast, and made for optimum ink flow. They are waterproof when dry, and are ideal for sketching.
