Are you still deciding which 2023 planner to use for organizing your life in the new year? This post is all about the planners I intend to use in 2023!
2023 is right around the corner and it’s the perfect time for a new start! I am trying out a new planner in 2023, along with a few of my old faves. If you are still on the fence about which planner you are going to use, I hope I can inspire you to try a few of these planners!
2023 Planner Lineup
1. Hobonichi 5-Year Journal
I am wrapping up my second year in the Hobonichi 5-year Journal. It has been so awesome to look back at the previous year while filling out the current daily log. It’s amazing how much you forget and even better to see how far you have come.
Quick journaling tip: If you don’t have time to write out complete thoughts about your day, just jot down a few key points. You just need to write down enough information to jog your memory! I save long-form journaling for the next journal I’m about to show you!
The 5-Year Hobonichi comes in the A5 (half sheet) and A6 size (pictured here). I love the compact size of the A6, and I don’t feel the pressure of having more space to write. But if you want to write a more detailed recap of your day, you may want to try the A5 version!
2. Traveler’s Notebook Journal
I have been journaling in a Traveler’s Notebook cover for the past 9 years! Starting with a DIY Cover that I made myself back in 2014! It wasn’t until 2015 that I purchased my first authentic Traveler’s Company cover, and I have been a dedicated user ever since. This is my go-to size for everyday journaling.
Fun Fact: I purchased my first cover back when it was still the Midori Brand, so the stamp on my brown cover says Midori instead of Traveler’s Company. I thought it was a knockoff for a minute until I did some research!
I am using the monthly insert as a gratitude journal. I will write one thing I am grateful for every day!
And these monthly tab stickers! I have always wanted a set and finally purchased the sticker pack from the Baum-kuchen Store.
I just use a grid notebook for my daily, long-form journaling. It can get pretty chunky sometimes when it gets stuffed with pictures and ephemera.
3. Wonderland222 – Business Planner
In 2022 I used the Wonderland222 B6 Planner as my personal planner, but in 2023 it will be my business planner. I am pursuing my Blog and YouTube Channel full-time, and I know this planner will be perfect for content planning.
I will be using the Quarterly pages to log the days I post and my monthly stats.
The Review and Overview pages will be perfect for going over what worked, what didn’t work, and how I plan to conquer the next month!
I will preplan my posts on the Monthly spread. I will probably be using a pencil, and then fill it in with a pen once posts go live.
I struggled to come up with ideas for the Weekly layout, but I think I have figured it out!
My daughter is moving back home, so filming will be a little trickier. I will sit with my husband and daughter to review their schedules and block out the times I will have the apartment t to myself.
I have a ton of notes and ideas for my YouTube Channel and Blog, so all of that info will go in the blank pages at the back.
4. Sterling Ink Common Planner – Personal Planner
Ah yes! The newest addition to my planner lineup! Sterling Ink created the perfect hybrid of the Hobonich Cousin and the Wonderland222. The Common Planner will be my everything planner this year!
I will track my goals and habits on these pages.
All appointments and events will go into the monthly calendar. I do a lot of preplanning on these pages, and I refer to them during my weekly planning.
I will keep track of my days in the weekly section, just like I currently do in my Wonderland Planner.
I haven’t posted any flip-throughs yet, but it’s the same as when I did it back in my Hobonichi Cousin.
The daily pages will be filled with To Do’s for my business and personal life. Even though there are not any preprinted dates, there are enough pages to last a full year. The B6 is my Goldilocks size! Not so big that I feel like I NEED to fill the space, but not so small that I have to abbreviate everything.
I am also going to keep habit trackers that I print from Peanuts Planner Co on these pages. I know there will be days when I don’t need a to-do list, so there will be plenty of space. That’s the beauty of having undated daily pages!
